The Breakfast Club at Royal Park is run and managed by Footscray out of School Club.
Footscray out of School Club is a family run business that was established in 1998. We opened our doors at Royal Park Academy in June 2016.
We work within partnerships with parents at Royal Park Academy to be able to support the needs of our families.
After school club is for children aged 3 years and over within Royal Park Academy.
We are open between the hours of 3.30pm to 6.15 pm with prices starting from £7.00 we also offer discounts for siblings.
After school club offers children the chance to be able to socialise with friends and offers a range of daily activities to choose from including:
Arts and crafts
Colouring and drawing
Dressing up and pretend play
And many more activities.
Our friendly and qualified staff are also able to help children with their homework and reading on a daily basis, and we work with the teachers to help your child to achieve their potential if extra help is required.
At 4.30pm the children sit down for dinner. This is a home cooked meal along with an unlimited salad bar giving the children an opportunity to try new vegetables. We also offer fruit of the day at the beginning of every session where the children are able to enjoy and try new fruits, it is our aim to try to introduce the children to as many different fruits as we can possibly find and are in season.
The children also participate in themed activities each term to help create new display boards for the children to display their pictures, and also models that they have made during their time with us. The children are able to make and create pictures/ models by using a range of materials that are on offer, we encourage as much ‘messy play ‘ as we can.
These activities also help the children in after school club to learn skills for creativity, eye-hand co-ordination, imagination and fine motor skills.
Our staff are all qualified, with our daily leaders qualified to level 3 standard, all holding Paediatric First Aid qualifications, all our staff are also required to hold a current Food hygiene certificate. Each day there is a designated safeguarding lead available to give advice and help should either staff or parents require this.
