New Reception Families
A Warm Welcome to Our School
Welcome! We are absolutely delighted that you have chosen to join our school community. As the Headteacher, I can say with immense pride that we are truly honored to serve our children and their families.
I am thrilled to share some wonderful news regarding our Reception and Nursery provision. In March, we received an inspection from Early Excellence, where our setting was described as exemplary.
The inspectors particularly highlighted:
-
Purposeful Environments: Our continuous provision allows children to feel happy, comfortable, and safe.
-
Quality Interactions: The way our staff engage with the children leads not only to fantastic learning outcomes but also encourages children to challenge themselves and explore the world with curiosity.
-
Confident Learners: We pride ourselves on fostering an atmosphere where children aren't afraid to take risks in their learning.
"Adult-child relationships are clearly a strength; relationship building has consistently been prioritised and this was evident throughout the visit and through the well-being levels of children.."
"Across both Nursery and YR, children’s well-being was high; they demonstrated enthusiasm, were motivated to learn and highly engaged."
"Resources within indoor and outdoor areas of provision provide a rich, open-ended offer and facilitate secure development of the Characteristics of Effective Learning. There were extremely strong examples of children using areas provision effectively and having a good understanding of the expectations, resource and learning
possibilities."
